Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust was established by Mahatma Gandhi in the year 1945. He enjoined nation building to rural development through development of poor rural women and children.


Mahatmaji set up the objective of providing healthcare, education, and economic welfare of needy rural women and children. The Trust aims at building a social structure based on non-violent power of the people, through women ‘ s empowerment.
